About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee site operations and lead teams across various projects nationwide. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The position involves regular travel and working away from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day site operations and lead site teams effectively
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
  • Report progress and any issues to the Contracts Delivery Manager
  • Ensure all site documentation is completed accurately and procedures are followed
  • Plan ahead to ensure all materials, fixings, equipment, and consumables are available for upcoming works
  • Maintain clear communication with both team members and clients regarding schedules and progress
  • Record and report unforeseen issues (e.g. defects, delays, damages, site conditions) including photographic evidence where required
  • Monitor team performance and address any conduct or performance concerns
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, including SSOW/RAMS
  • Lead by example in maintaining PPE standards and site compliance (including HAV monitoring)
  • Ensure company uniform and professional standards are maintained across the team
  • Use mobile technology for site documentation, timekeeping, expenses, and logistics (e.g. booking accommodation, sourcing materials)

  • Regular working away from home
  • Occasional night and weekend work (not routine)
  • Strong timekeeping and reliability essential

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Site Supervisor or similar role
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Good understanding of site operations and health & safety regulations
  • Ability to manage teams and maintain high standards of work

Desirable Certifications

  • CSCS / CPCS / ALLMI
  • FLT licence
  • First Aid at Work
  • Full UK Driving Licence
