Experienced Recruitment Consultant Full Time Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00 1 weekend per month Wage and bonus structure to be discussed, dependant on experience Participation in an agreed on-call rota, including out-of-hours support. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. A minimum of 1 year previous recruitment experience is essential for this role and someone who is confident working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing client relationships, sourcing candidates and successfully filling vacancies across a range of sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter who is looking to develop their career, take ownership of their own clients and play an important role in the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities * Manage the full recruitment process from taking a vacancy through to successful placement. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. * Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through calls, emails, networking and business development activity. * Attend client meetings and build a strong understanding of clients' recruitment requirements. * Source suitable candidates using job boards, social media, databases, referrals and other recruitment methods. * Conduct candidate registration, screening and interviews. * Arrange and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients. * Complete candidate compliance and right-to-work documentation. * Manage temporary workers and maintain regular communication to ensure a high level of service. * Monitor and work towards individual and team recruitment and sales targets. * Generate vacancies and maximise opportunities from existing clients. * Follow up on leads, quotations and prospective business opportunities. * Participate in the company's on-call rota, providing support to workers and clients outside normal office hours. Skills & Experience * Previous experience working as a Recruitment Consultant is essential. * Proven experience within a sales, business development or target-driven environment. * Strong understanding of the recruitment process. * Confident making business development and candidate calls. * Strong negotiation and influencing skills. * Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to deadlines. * Commercially aware with a proactive approach to winning new business. * Comfortable working towards individual and team targets. * Confident using recruitment databases and job boards. * A full UK driving licence is desirable due to the potential requirement to attend client meetings and visit local businesses. * Resilient and able to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
