An opportunity has arisen for skilled Design Draughtspersons to join a busy engineering environment with an immediate start. Positions are available on both a contract and permanent basis. The successful candidates will support the design and modification of engineering drawings, primarily within sheet metal and fabrication projects.

  • 2 x Contract Roles 3-month duration (rate dependent on experience)
  • 1 x Permanent Role Salary up to 40,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Modify existing sheet metal and fabrication drawings to meet customer requirements
  • Work in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards
  • Collaborate with production engineers, fabricators, assembly operators, and other shop floor personnel
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings accurately

Required Skills (training can be provided)

  • Competence in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings

Typical Projects

  • Steel security doors and related fabricated products
