Overview
You will be providing support to the Sales and Administrative teams, and dealing with customer enquiries and orders. Mainly this will involve speaking to customers on the phone, dealing with emails, processing online orders and helping with customer payments and stock or design queries. It will also involve liaising with the operations team, and handling customer enquiries about deliveries and logistics.

Midsummer is a fast‑growing company selling a range of renewable energy products, primarily to installation companies, from our offices in Cambridge, Glasgow and Dublin. We sell solar PV systems, battery storage, electric vehicle chargers, heat pumps and a variety of other associated products, and were recognised as the UK's best renewables distributor in both 2020 and 2022. Founded in 2005, we are now on our 6th warehouse, process around 50,000 orders a year, and have a team of over 120 people across the UK and Ireland offices. In addition to our growing gang of friendly staff and a lean, efficient operation, we have a suite of web tools that make design and ordering extremely easy. Easy-pv.co.uk and heatpunk.co.uk are both market‑leading tools for designing solar and heat pump systems, and we have a team of software developers improving them all the time. We pride ourselves on being a distributor that offers a wide range of great products, but with the support of friendly and helpful service too. We have some industry leading web tools to make ordering easy, but we strongly believe that people buy from people and we’re looking for someone to join our friendly sales team as we continue to pick up customers in this rapidly expanding market.

Benefits and Salary
