We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Lunchtime Cover Assistant to join our dedicated team in our vibrant 2-year-old room. Two is a magical age full of curiosity, rapid growth, and joyful discovery! In this role, you will play a key part in making lunchtime a happy, calm, and nurturing experience for our young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Fostering Healthy Habits: Help create a warm, family-style dining environment, encouraging toddlers to try foods, learn mealtime manners, and build independence.
- Play & Exploration: Transition children smoothly from lunch to outdoor or indoor play, supporting their social interactions and imagination.
- Nurturing Care: Provide a safe, welcoming, and reassuring presence during a busy time of the nursery day.
About You
- Passionate & Caring: You have a genuine love for working with young children and understand the unique needs of two-year-olds.
- A Team Player: Reliable, patient, and keen to foster a positive, fun environment.
Qualifications: A childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years) is an advantage, but not essential—what matters most is your warm attitude and dedication!
