Working proactively with students, families, staff, and external agencies, the postholder ensures early identification of need, delivers targeted interventions, and contributes to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.The Student Welfare Officer is a key member of the inclusion team, acting as a lead professional for identified students and providing high quality welfare support that removes barriers to learning, improves attendance, and supports emotional, social and academic progress.At Minehead Middle School, part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership, the child is truly at the centre of everything we do.
