Norton Hill School is an oversubscribed, successful school serving Midsomer Norton and the surrounding area and is an integral part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership. We are currently recruiting for a part-time Teaching Assistant based at Norton Hill School.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional, highly motivated and hard-working Teaching Assistant to support in class, 1:1 and in specific interventions. Good subject knowledge in Maths and English is essential along with a reasonable level of ICT experience.
The following would be desirable:
- English and Maths GCSEs
- Experience across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification
- Completion of the DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme
We will provide training for inexperienced applicants. We would like to hear from you if you believe you can make a positive contribution to our school.
