Norton Hill Primary are looking for a permanent After School Club Assistant. Our After School Club provision is extremely popular and to continue supporting our families we require to expand our team. We are looking for a dynamic, flexible, hard working and reliable individual to work as part of our friendly team.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 3.15pm - 5.45pm, Friday 3.15pm - 4.30pm. Term time only plus 1 Inset day.

Salary: Grade 1, Scale Point 3. Actual Salary: £6,503.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Overview):

  • Provide safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunities framework.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needs.
  • Ensure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ensure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the Food Safety Act 1990.
  • Ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered.
  • Ensure that play meets the full range of children’s individual and group needs.
  • Ensure smooth running of the provision.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Have a can do attitude.
  • Take pride in a job well done.
