Critchill School caters for pupils aged 4 - 19 years with profound, severe and complex learning difficulties. We are looking for people who can demonstrate they are flexible, positive, calm, patient and empathic and who will easily fit in with our skilled, enthusiastic and hardworking staff team. You will:
- Lead on the catering provision as part of Working Futures provision.
- Take a lead in developing our external presence of Working Futures Catering.
- Drive a range of vehicles including our catering vehicles.
- Organise and manage appropriate learning environment and resources.
- Uphold Food Hygiene standards and laws in relation to catering.
- Ensure that all statutory requirements are met in relation to food preparation and food hygiene.
- Assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils’ learning.
- Establish constructive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Work as part of a team and lead other support staff.
