The Swatch Group Ltd is an international group active in the manufacture and sale of finished watches, jewellery, watch movements and components. The Group’s production companies also supply movements and components to third‑party watchmakers. The Swatch Group Ltd is also a key player in the manufacture and sale of electronic systems used in watchmaking and other industries.
This is a new role in the UK and we are looking for someone with proven sales experience and great understanding of the wholesale market. As Sales and Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our wholesale footprint and elevating brand presence across the UK. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new points of sale, managing key wholesale accounts, and driving brand growth through integrated sales and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Account Management
- Identify and secure new wholesale partners and retail locations aligned with brand positioning
- Manage and grow relationships with existing stockists and retail partners
- Negotiate commercial terms, sales targets, and promotional support
- Monitor sell-through performance and provide strategic guidance to partners
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis
- Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop and execute marketing plans to support product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Collaborate with brand principals and creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
- Oversee visual merchandising standards and in‑store brand presentation
- Coordinate PR, influencer outreach, and digital marketing initiatives
- Support events, trade shows, and client activations
- Reporting & Collaboration
- Track and report on sales performance, ROI, and market trends
- Work closely with logistics, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations
- Provide feedback to brand partners on market reception and opportunities
Profile Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in sales and marketing within luxury retail or wholesale (preferably watches, jewellery, or fashion)
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship‑building and communication abilities
- Understanding of luxury brand positioning and customer expectations
- Proficiency in CRM, Excel, and marketing tools
- Willingness to travel within the UK for partner visits and events
