We’re looking for a Head of AI to lead our company’s AI strategy, delivery, and adoption. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate comfortably between strategy and execution, shaping our AI direction at leadership level while also building and enabling practical solutions across the business. You’ll work closely with our founders and leadership team to identify where AI can create real leverage in a fast-growing, regulated environment. You’ll lead a small AI delivery team, build internal tools and foundations, and act as the internal advocate helping teams across the company confidently adopt AI in their day-to-day work. This role focuses on impact—turning AI into measurable efficiency, quality, and cost improvements—and would suit someone already advocating for and building with AI daily who wants to transition into a full-time AI-focused role with industry-leading adoption.

Your Background And Experience

We don’t expect you to already have “AI” in your job title or be deeply technical yourself. You might have a product management or operational background, or something else entirely. However this is a leadership role and we’ll expect several years of experience both driving work and leading strategic projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead AI Strategy & Vision
    • Partner closely with the founders and leadership team to define our AI goals, roadmap, and execution plan.
    • Translate business priorities into focused, high-impact AI initiatives.
    • Set principles and guardrails for responsible, pragmatic AI adoption in a regulated environment.
  • Drive Building & Delivery
    • Work closely with a small AI enablement team of engineers to unlock AI adoption company-wide.
    • Prioritise and oversee the design and development of internal AI-powered tools and workflows.
    • Own “build vs buy” decisions and delivery from concept through to impact.
    • Stay current on AI tooling, APIs, models, and patterns, and assess what’s relevant now vs later.
  • Enable Adoption & Advocacy
    • Lead our internal AI Champions group and support teams with real implementations.
    • Act as the internal champion for AI, helping teams across the business adopt and experiment safely.
    • Run workshops, office hours, and hands-on training sessions.
  • Measure Impact & Outcomes
    • Define and track meaningful metrics: adoption, engagement, efficiency gains, cost savings, SaaS spend avoided, and sentiment.
    • Communicate progress, outcomes, and learnings clearly to the leadership team.
