Overview
We are seeking a team player with a positive work ethic to work part time joining a small team in a secondary school environment. Good communication and timekeeping are essential to support the demands of a busy environment. This is a very varied and practical role. The team support the whole school in the preparation of teaching resources. This includes basic food preparation and food handling in Home Economics. Processing of metal and wood in Design & Technology and basic IT trouble shooting and AV set up.
Responsibilities
- Reprographics: Processing print requests – online and paper requests; stock control and ordering; administration and filing; basic maintenance of printers.
- Home Economics: Food handling and basic food preparation; processing laundry; stock control and ordering ingredients.
- AV & IT: Set up laptop and connect projection/sound devices; inventory and checks; maintain and update the school website; assist with basic IT faults and issues.
- Design & Technology: Metal and wood material preparation; maintain and prepare classroom tools; safety inspections.
