We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who are committed to excellence and ready to work in a dynamic part of Scotland. The role involves delivering quality education to assigned pupils and contributing, within a collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school in relation to pupils, staff, and appropriate external bodies within the agreements of the Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers and the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers.
The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join or update their PVG Scheme membership. If you have spent three or more continuous months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
Salary will be in accordance with SNCT agreements. Applicants must be or be eligible for full registration with GTC Scotland. If qualified outside Scotland, visit GTCS Qualified Outside Scotland for registration details. A minimum of one reference from your current or most recent employer is required.
