Overview
The Children\’s Social Work Service in Aberdeenshire is a continually evolving and improving service designed to deliver high-quality assistance and support to children and families in need and/or at risk of harm. We have a dedicated Children\’s Services Performance Team who work alongside our front line teams. The team has a specific focus on service development and improvement, self-evaluation and quality assurance.
Role purpose / Responsibilities
- Lead on developing and improving child protection practice within the Children\’s Social Work Service.
- Contribute towards the improvement of multi-agency practice across Aberdeenshire to support the development of integrated working to deliver improved outcomes for children in need and at risk of harm or abuse.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

There is some flexibility regarding the working days and work base for this post. This is a Fixed Term post for a period not exceeding 30/06/2026.
