The faculty consists of Business and Modern Languages. This is a new faculty and as such we are looking for a creative, passionate and energetic teacher to join this team.
There are currently two full time permanent Business teachers in post. Attainment within this part of the school is excellent. There is strong uptake within Business and Administration. There is scope to develop and introduce more level 5 and level 6 SCQF courses to ensure there are appropriate pathways for all young people. The preferred candidate will be teaching classes from S1 – S6 in Digital Literacy, Business and Administration.

- If you are successful, our offer of employment will be conditional on satisfactory completion of pre-employment requirements, such as medical screening, two written references, one which must be from your most recent/current employer, verification of your original qualifications and your eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
- Registration with the General Teaching Council and a satisfactory PVG check for Regulated Work with Children will also be essential.
- General Teaching Council Scotland: Teachers applying for permanent posts should be fully registered with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS).
- This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
- Successful candidates will require a PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children.
