Education

Essential: Jobholders require a minimum of two SCE Higher Grades or equivalent and

evidence of competency in literacy and numeracy such as a minimum of three Standard

Grade level passes to include English and Mathematics.

Experience

Essential: Jobholders would be expected to have experience in working in a Local

Government environment and have an understanding computer based financial management

and reporting systems in use with Council services. S/he must also have knowledge and

demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office packages.

Desirable: it would be desirable if jobholders had experience at involving the supervision and training of staff.

Requirements

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
