Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced manager in social care to lead and manage this Extra care Housing facility. A commitment to supporting tenants in maintaining independent lives within an accommodation-based setting, requiring strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience in housing, health, or social care. Knowledge
Essential
- Diploma in Social Work or equivalent SVQ 4 in Care or SVQ 4 in Health and Social Care. Registered Managers Award or equivalent with previous experience at a senior level in either Residential Care, Extra Care Housing or Care at Home.
- Jobholder must meet the requirements of Scottish Social Services Council Registration for Housing Support Service and Care and Home Services within the required deadlines.
Desirable
- Tenancy management experience related to housing for older people (e.g. amenity or sheltered housing) with understanding of tenancy agreements, rent account procedures and tenant participation.
