Jobholders must hold an LGV Category C Driving License and be able to work unsupervised. To be fully competent in the role, jobholders must have an understanding of waste management and understand the responsibilities involved in co-ordinating the team.

Hours of Work: 36 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 07:30-15:15 (30 minute unpaid break each day) & Friday, 07:30-15:00 (30 minute unpaid break)

Weeks per year: 52

Please note that it is Midlothian Council's policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale. Based on 36 hours over 52 weeks per year, the minimum actual salary for this position is £31,445.76 per annum.
