Essential Criteria- Applicants must have an honours degree in psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society and the relevant post-graduate qualification in educational psychology.
- Applicants must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council or be in the process of registering having gained eligibility.
- Experience relating to child development, educational systems, and project/research work in educational establishments.
- Able to work in a values-led way that ensures children and young people participate meaningfully in decisions that affect them.
- Strong awareness and skills in psychological consultation, assessment and intervention to work through complex problems.
- Skills and confidence in leading and supporting professional learning and providing effective support for staff that promotes learning and wellbeing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexibly and be responsive to changing demands and challenges.
- Self-aware and committed to ongoing self-evaluation and professional development as an EP.
- Ability to work independently and in partnership with a range of agencies.
- Forward-looking and willing to become involved in innovative approaches.
- Knowledge, skills and experience in coaching and/or supervision approaches.
- Knowledge, skills and experience in facilitating and evaluating the impact of rights-based, relational approaches at universal and targeted levels.
- Experience in leading on research and development work relating to effective teaching and learning, leadership at all levels and workforce wellbeing.
