The predicted salary is between 23000 - 25000 £ per year.

Working across the houses within Midlothian Residential services. Cleaning of designated areas within the buildings including the young person’s bedrooms to ensure that they are kept in a hygienic condition by vacuuming, cleaning floors, cleaning baths/showers/toilets and washing walls.

Undertake kitchen and dining room duties e.g. laying and clearing tables, basic preparation of food, and washing up, deep cleans etc. Operating powered equipment including laundry equipment. Support young people to ensure laundry duties are completed e.g. washing, ironing and folding clothes.

Basic reading is a requirement of the job to enable the Jobholder to read the instructions regarding the handling of chemicals and use of laundry equipment.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children. Successful candidates will require PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children.
