The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 Β£ per year.
Educated to HNC or SVQ3 level in business administration or related subject and/or extensive experience working in an administrative role, managing a team, scheduling/monitoring work. It is essential the jobholder has competency in literacy and numeracy skills, such as an education to Higher standard including passes in Mathematics and English, or equivalent.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel, Outlook.
Knowledge of and experience in using databases.
Considerable previous office experience, preferably in an educational or social care environment, demonstrating supervisory, organisation, budgetary and communication skills is essential.
Experience of managing a busy office environment and supervising staff.
Customer Service and/or reception experience.
Previous financial operational and/or budget management experience.
PVG Membership (Children): Successful candidates will require PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children. You will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment with Midlothian Council, the cost of which will be met by you.
