The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

This post will involve evening work until 9pm including Fridays with occasional weekends and residentials.

KNOWLEDGE

  • It is essential that the post holder has extensive experience of delivering communities and lifelong learning programmes and projects including delivery of accredited opportunities.
  • It is desirable that they have supervised either volunteers and/or staff.
  • It is essential that the postholder has one or more qualification at SCQF Level 8 (or higher) or equivalent work experience/qualifications in Community Education or Teaching or Employability or Social Policy or equivalent relevant communities and lifelong learning experience including trade certificates.
  • It is desirable that they hold verifier and assessor qualifications acceptable to SQA and other accreditation bodies.
  • It is essential that the post holder has experience of planning community learning and development interventions, programmes and projects.
  • It is desirable that they have experience of supporting internal or external working groups to lead on key communities and lifelong learning themes.
