Educational:
- Essential: Educated to HNC or SVQ3 level in business administration or related subject and/or extensive experience working in an administrative role, managing a team, scheduling/monitoring work.
- It is essential the jobholder has competency in literacy and numeracy skills, such as an education to Higher standard including passes in Mathematics and English, or equivalent.
Experience:
- Essential: Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Knowledge of and experience in using databases.
- Considerable previous office experience, preferably in an educational or social care environment, demonstrating supervisory, organisation, budgetary and communication skills is essential.
- Experience of managing a busy office environment and supervising staff.
- Ability to prioritise and organise a range of tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer Service and/or reception experience.
- Previous financial operational and/or budget management experience.
PVG Membership (Children)
- Desirable: Previous experience in developing and implementing new ways of working including implementing new systems and procedures utilising new technology.
