Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Business Support Officer to assist Service Managers and Team Leaders. Key responsibilities include gathering and analysing data, generating reports, liaising with corporate services, attending meetings, and delivering staff training. You'll also help with risk management, policy reviews, and contribute to performance monitoring. Regular travel between Trust sites is required. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
Key Duties
- Establish and maintain a business support infrastructure necessary to assist the Service Manager, Operational and Clinical Leads in meeting the Trust's objectives and targets.
- Develop systems and processes to monitor performance against the Trust's Key Performance Indicators.
- Analyse reports and extract data from all report formats for all Key Performance Indicators (Quantity & Quality) and feed this back to Service Manager, Operational and Clinical Lead in a format that can be used within Services/Teams for planning and supervision purposes.
- Have authority to approach individual clinicians and request action; escape performance/compliance issues as necessary via the Team Leaders with a requirement to further elevate if required via Service Manager.
- Work with Corporate Services to identify areas of under-recording of clinical activity and collaborate with Services/Teams to improve recording and data quality.
- Assist in risk management and policy reviews, and contribute to performance monitoring.
