Overview
The post holder will be responsible for a full range of housekeeping duties which may include working on wards and in service user and staff areas.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a full range of housekeeping duties, including work on wards and in service user and staff areas.
- Maintaining the required standard of cleaning services following the correct procedure and frequencies.
- Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist equipment).
- Carrying out specialist cleaning and one-off cleaning duties in line with Supervisors requirements.
- Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for service users.
Skills and Experience
- Full training will be given for the role; however, previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, as would previous NHS experience.
- Candidates should meet all the essential aspects of the Person Specification which can be found at the rear of the Job Description.
