We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team at The New Wycliffe, part of the Midlands Care Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who is committed to delivering exceptional care, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive, supportive culture for both residents and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Providing strong, visible leadership to ensure the highest standards of person-centred care.
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, internal policies, and all statutory requirements.
- Leading, developing, and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
- Managing staffing levels, recruitment, training, and performance to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Ensuring robust care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding practices are consistently upheld.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, external professionals, and regulatory bodies.
- Driving continuous improvement through audits, quality monitoring, and reflective practice.
- Managing budgets, resources, and operational performance to ensure the home runs efficiently and sustainably.
- Acting as an ambassador for Midlands Care, promoting our values and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a care home setting.
- Strong understanding of CQC standards, regulatory frameworks, and best practice in adult social care.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop staff at all levels.
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship).
Hourly Rate of Pay: £19 – £22 (DOE)
