Job Overview

We have a vacancy for a receptionist/administrator, working with a friendly reception team. We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic team member to provide high-quality site administration and call handling services.

Experience in a similar role is essential as you will work autonomously. Full training will be provided.

Hours: 08:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday.

Main Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for staff regarding building issues.
  • Monitor and manage the Reception and CSU Estates inbox, arranging repairs via Connect (NHS Property Services Helpdesk).
  • Provide site administration and call handling.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day building and facilities management of Leyland House, making decisions in the absence of the Estates Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and security regulations.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • NVQ Business Administration Level 2

Reception Experience

  • Experience in reception duties, answering calls, and admin tasks.
  • Experience reporting FM building issues.

Communication Skills

  • Telephone handling experience.
  • Managing and responding to emails.
