An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Endoscopy Records Clerk, to provide administrative/reception support to the various services within the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Montagu Hospital. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about challenges of a busy working and constantly changing environment, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and to achieve strict deadlines. You will be a highly motivated individual, with the ability to motivate and influence others, suggest and implement ideas to improve service performance and efficiency and will have excellent communication skills.
Main duties
- Working as part of a multi professional team, your main objectives will be to provide full record clerk duties on the CDC reception, developing efficient and effective services, managing resources to achieve national and local quality and performance targets.
- You will be responsible for working closely with the nurses and clinicians and Team Leaders providing expertise in the proactive management of patient pathways.
- You will be responsible for the day to day reception duties, and any admin work. This includes all activity in relation to patient attendance, ensuring effective management of referrals and appointments, monitoring able to develop good working relationships.
- Able to follow Trust policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates Trusts values and behaviours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and positive approach to work.
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of liaising with more than one discipline.
- Experience of customer care.
