We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team at Midland Veterinary Surgery. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who enjoys variety, patient care, and developing their skills in a busy, well-equipped practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide theatre and surgical support, including anaesthesia monitoring
- Run nurse-led consultations and assist with medical care in our kennels
- Support our Head Nurse and veterinary surgeons in day-to-day duties
- Participate in stock control, ordering, and site management support
- Uphold high standards of patient care, hygiene, and clinical protocols
What We’re Looking For
- RCVS-qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Experience in surgery and nurse consultations preferred
- Clinical Coach experience is desirable
- Reception knowledge is a bonus, but not essential
- Friendly, organised, and enthusiastic team player
Hours & Flexibility
- Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Weekend rota: 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00am - 2:30pm
- Earliest start: 7:45am | Latest finish: 7:30pm
- No Sunday or out-of-hours work
- Part-time and flexible working requests welcome

We are an RCVS-accredited small animal practice, fully equipped with:
- Laboratory suite, theatre, and 3 consulting rooms
- Radiography and dental x-ray
- Visiting ultrasonographer and certificate-holder surgeon for complex cases
