We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Extraction Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of commercial kitchen extraction systems. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, preventing fire hazards, and promoting a hygienic environment within food service establishments. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning of kitchen extraction hoods, filters, and ductwork in commercial kitchens to a TR19 standard.
- Remove grease, dirt, and debris from all components of the extraction system using specialised cleaning equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any faults or damages to management.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with organising cleaning schedules to minimise disruption to clients' operations.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence (Required)
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
