Our longstanding client is an award-winning organisation offering support to individuals with drug and alcohol problems in a range of settings including detoxification and residential rehabilitation, recovery housing, social enterprises and community based therapeutic services. We work in partnership with We Are With You, Stoke-on-Trent City Council to form the Community Drug and Alcohol Service (CDAS). The roles we have are more than just a job; they are a pivotal link to making a positive difference in people’s lives.

We are recruiting staff for our new housing team working within our drug and alcohol service that will ensure our service users who have a number of housing needs receive support to access and maintain suitable, stable accommodation whilst receiving high quality, recovery orientated and evidence based interventions to reduce harm and maximise opportunity for sustained health living.

As a peer support co-ordinator you will have relevant lived experience of substance misuse and or homelessness in order to support others going through similar experiences.

  • To share your lived experiences as appropriate in a positive way to create hope, aspiration and motivation to support service users.
