The successful candidate will lead a £60 million capital investment programme focused on extending Cliffe Hill Quarry and establishing a new high‑volume asphalt plant.
Responsibilities- Drive programme execution, balancing time, cost, and quality.
- Develop and own multi‑year project plans, managing interfaces to minimise risk and maximise delivery.
- Serve as the primary interface for senior leadership, contractors, and statutory bodies.
- Maintain transparency over large‑scale budgets, procurement strategies, and risk mitigation.
- Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative, high‑performing culture across multidisciplinary internal and external teams.
- Champion strict compliance with corporate and legislative Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction Management, Minerals Management, or a related field.
- Professional project management certification such as PgMP, PMP, or PRINCE2.
- Proven experience delivering major capital development programmes within heavy industrial processing, building materials, minerals, or construction.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing large multidisciplinary teams and third‑party suppliers.
