We have a fantastic opportunity for a Ranger / Mobile Estates Operative to join our Housing Management team. This is a great opportunity to join us as we look to grow the team and set up in our new and improved West Midlands Hub.

This role is key in helping us ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to our tenants, by ensuring their properties remain clean and safe places they are proud to call home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Physically removing fly tipping / rubbish and other hazards from communal areas (including bio-hazards).
  • Assisting departments across the business with ad-hoc manual work for example, moving furniture across schemes etc.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc maintenance, cleaning and caretaking duties to scheme communal areas and grounds, ensuring they are clean, safe and secure for residents.
  • Carrying out routine safety checks across designated properties.
  • Reporting repairs, incident and housing management issues to the relevant departments/organisations to ensure prompt remedial action is taken.

The ability to travel across a Midlands based patch is essential for this role.

Our ideal candidate? We\’re looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of working in a busy and fast paced -environment and can demonstrate a flexible approach to work – always putting the tenant at the heart of service delivery. Your application will highlight the following:

  • Experience of dealing with and removing fly-tipping or experience in a similar manual handling role, moving large and heavy objects.
  • Experience of carrying out basic property / grounds repairs or other basic DIY tasks.
  • Experience of using basic IT to support your job role including the management of an email inbox.
