Overview

Housing Advice Officer – Fixed-Term (Contact Centre based) at Midland Heart. This is an office-based, full-time role in the Contact Centre at Bath Row, working approximately 6 months on a fixed-term basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an effective and efficient telephony-based advisory service to tenants with complex Housing, Estates and Antisocial Behaviour related queries.
  • Identify the central issue of a problem and act to resolve it, collaborating with colleagues across the organisation as needed.
  • Handle emotive and challenging telephone contacts with resilience and the ability to bounce back.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience of dealing with a variety of Housing Management and Tenancy matters within Housing, particularly Antisocial Behaviour and Safeguarding.
  • Previous experience of working with customers from diverse and wide-ranging socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Experience of handling a high volume of customer calls in a calm, confident and efficient manner.
  • Achieved or willing to work towards a Level 3 Housing qualification.
