We\’re seeking a driven individual to join our industry leading Building Safety team as a Compliance Officer / Contract Delivery Surveyor (Gas). This key role supports the delivery of high-quality contracted gas compliance and remedial works programmes ensuring that contracted works are delivered in a tenant-centric manner and in-line with current regulation and legislation.
Working closely with the wider Midland Heart team and contractors, you\’ll ensure that challenging operational objectives and KPIs are achieved in a legislatively compliant, timely, cost effective and tenant-focused manner at all times. On a daily basis you\’ll demonstrate a dedication to achieving compliance performance and achieving targets for respective gas compliance contracts; relishing the opportunity to gain value for money whilst ensuring that our tenants are provided with a seamless high-quality service.
Our ideal candidate? Please upload a copy of your CV with an accompanying cover letter highlighting the following:
- An outline of your experience in building safety or compliance, gained within social housing, facilities management or other relevant setting.
- Experience of compliance reporting and/or managing compliance programmes.
- Experience using a range of systems, specifically the use of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience or knowledge of Social Housing.
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle insured for business purposes. It is expected that, during their probationary period, the successful candidate will initially work 5 days per week at our Birmingham Head Office or out in our communities; moving to a 2 day per week remote working & 3 Day in-office arrangement after this period.
