Operations Support Technician

Operations Support Technician within our Repairs & Maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Clean, maintain and repair gutters on Midland Heart properties using gutter vacuum/ladders.
- Clear and collect waste and household items from void and occupied properties, ensuring responsible disposal and transfer to recycling facilities where appropriate.
- Support the upkeep of Midland Heart depots, carrying out basic building maintenance, lamp replacements, housekeeping activities and facilities management tasks.
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance works including drainage, fencing and paving repairs and replacements.
- Conduct building safety and compliance checks and support management of skips, recycling facilities and depot operations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, inspections undertaken, incidents and risk assessments.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and support a positive experience for tenants and colleagues.
- Contribute to the achievement of service standards, productivity targets and operational KPIs.
Qualifications
- Experience carrying out minor building maintenance, environmental services, grounds maintenance, or similar practical work.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools or light machinery.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads, tasks or service requests effectively.
