If you’re practical, motivated, and keen to develop your skills, join us as a Multi‑Trade Apprentice – Plumber and begin your journey towards becoming a fully qualified Multi‑Trade Operative. This 3‑year apprenticeship programme combines classroom learning with hands‑on experience in our Repairs & Maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced operatives to carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance in tenants’ homes
- Develop core expertise in plumbing while building a broad range of property maintenance skills across multiple trades
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard, ensuring work is “right first time”
- Engage with tenants to deliver excellent customer service
- Apply health and safety practices in all work activities
Support Throughout Your Apprenticeship
You won’t be doing this alone; we’ll support you every step of the way.
- A dedicated mentor to guide day‑to‑day learning
- Support from an Apprentice Supervisor to help build your skills
- Ongoing guidance from our Early Careers Manager
- A Line Manager who will support your development and progression
- Part of a cohort of apprentices, learning and growing together
Qualifications
- A practical mindset and an interest in hands‑on work
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A tenant‑focused approach, taking pride in delivering a great service
- A genuine interest in working in a trade role and building a long‑term career
- Currently hold or will achieve GCSEs (or equivalent) and have achieved at least 4 GCSEs at Grade 9–3 (A*–D)
- Basic IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office or use of mobile devices)
- Willingness to work towards a full UK manual driving licence
