Do you have experience coordinating training programmes and supporting learning and development activity? Looking to apply your organisational skills in a role where you can make a real impact? If so, join us as a Learning and Talent Coordinator on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality learning and talent initiatives across the organisation.
As a Learning and Talent Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the end-to-end coordination of leadership and development programmes, from nomination through to completion
- Managing training events and workshops, including scheduling, bookings, facilitators, venues, and materials
- Coordinating external training providers and professional qualification bookings, ensuring quality and value
- Maintaining and updating learning systems (LMS), ensuring accurate training records, certifications, and attendance tracking
- Producing reports and dashboards on training activity, completion rates, and talent pipelines
- Supporting apprenticeship programmes to ensure timely progress and completion
- Providing proactive administrative support to the Learning and Talent team, particularly during peak periods
You’ll join a collaborative Learning and Talent team within Corporate Resources, focused on developing colleagues and building future capability across Midland Heart. You’ll play a central role in ensuring programmes run smoothly and colleagues have access to high-quality learning opportunities.
Our ideal candidate: We're seeking a highly organised and proactive individual with:
- Experience working in a Learning & Development, HR, or Talent-related role
- Demonstrable experience coordinating training programmes, events, or workshops
- Experience maintaining systems or databases (e.g. LMS) and managing accurate records
- Strong organisational experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
As a smart working organisation, you can expect a balance of working from the office (Birmingham, Bath Row) and from home. Typically, you'll be working from the office 3 days per week and 2 days per week from home.
