As our new Head of Asset Intelligence you'll lead this next stage of our journey, driving strategic leadership that strengthens the long‑term performance, sustainability and resilience of our housing portfolio.
What we're looking for:
- We’re seeking an experienced leader to drive data‑led investment planning, modernise our asset intelligence approach, and ensure our homes are safe, sustainable and high‑quality for tenants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading strategic portfolio planning and options appraisals.
- Providing evidence‑based recommendations to Executive and Board.
- Leading and developing the Asset Intelligence team, acting as a positive role model.
- Overseeing asset data quality, insight and system innovation.
- Guiding energy performance and sustainability planning.
- Supporting long‑term investment plans (1, 5 and 30 years).
- Ensuring governance, assurance and value for money (VFM) decisions.
What you'll bring:
- Strong experience in strategic asset/portfolio management (gained in social housing or similar) including long term planning, options appraisal and portfolio optimisation.
- Ability to interpret complex information and present it to senior stakeholders to shape investment strategy.
- Commercial and financial acumen in a property context (such as lifecycle costing, Net Present Value, VFM).
- Leadership of complex projects and change initiatives.
- Proven track record of leading and developing skilled, high‑performing teams.
- A relevant professional qualification and/or membership (e.g. MRICS, MICOB or equivalent), or substantial relevant experience.
