You’ll help streamline how we analyse, verify and pay our utility bills. Working across the business, you’ll use data to spot trends and reduce both utility costs and transaction volumes.
Responsibilities
- Analyse incoming utility bills and debt claims to determine Midland Heart's liability, approving valid payments and challenging incorrect invoices with Utility and Energy suppliers.
- Use data and management information to produce accurate reports, focusing on ways to cut utility consumption and costs.
- Process void periods during tenancy changes and coordinate timely meter readings to ensure accurate billing.
- Respond to customer and stakeholder queries about utility charges, while raising purchase orders, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts monthly.
- Maintain a database to track activity, monitor invoice reductions, and suggest system improvements to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
Join us and you'll play a key role in helping us drive financial efficiency, making a genuine impact on our organisation and our tenants' lives.
Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of payment systems and Microsoft Excel, as well as experience managing financial transactions.
- Proven case management experience with sharp attention to detail and a track record of resolving complex issues within a regulated industry (e.g. Utilities, Energy, Finance, Housing).
