If so, join us as an Operations Support Technician within our Repairs & Maintenance team.
As an Operations Support Technician, you'll be responsible for:
- Works to be carried out using the Gutter vacuum/ladders to clean, maintain and repair the gutters on Midland Heart properties.
- Clearing and collecting waste and household items from both void and occupied properties, ensuring materials are disposed of responsibly and transferred to recycling facilities where appropriate.
- Supporting the upkeep of Midland Heart depots whilst carrying out basic building maintenance, lamp replacements, housekeeping activities, and facilities management tasks.
- Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance works including drainage, fencing, and paving repairs and replacements.
- Conducting building safety and compliance checks and supporting the management of skips, recycling facilities, and depot operations.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed, inspections undertaken, incidents, and risk assessments.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Providing excellent customer service and supporting a positive experience for tenants and colleagues.
- Contributing to the achievement of service standards, productivity targets, and operational KPIs.
You will join a hardworking and supportive Repairs & Maintenance team, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining safe, clean, and well-managed environments for our customers, colleagues, and communities.
Our ideal candidate? We're looking for someone with:
- Experience carrying out minor building maintenance, environmental services, grounds maintenance, or similar practical work.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, or light machinery in a work environment.
- Experience working independently while managing workloads, tasks, or service requests effectively.
