Looking to start your career as an Electrician and gain a recognised qualification? If you're practical, motivated, and keen to develop your skills, join us as an Electrical Apprentice and begin your journey towards becoming a fully qualified Electrician. This is a 4‑year apprenticeship programme, combining classroom learning with hands‑on experience supporting our Repairs & Maintenance team.
As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll be responsible for:
- Working alongside qualified Electricians to diagnose and complete a wide range of electrical maintenance and repair works in tenants' homes
- Learning to carry out repairs safely and to a high standard, ensuring work is ‘right first time'
- Developing your electrical knowledge and skills through both on‑the‑job and classroom‑based learning
- Engaging with tenants to provide a positive customer experience
- Applying health and safety practices, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
These responsibilities reflect the balance of practical learning, customer interaction, and technical development outlined in the role profile.

- That you currently hold / or will achieve your GCSE's (or equivalent) and will / have achieved at least 4 GCSE's at Grade 9‑3 (A*‑D)
- Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office or use of mobile devices)
- Willingness to work towards a full UK manual driving licence
