Gain hands-on experience in plant operations, waste management, and equipment maintenance while working with cutting-edge technology. You will be trained to:
- Assist in Plant Operations: Support the monitoring and operation of plant equipment such as boilers, turbines, and generators.
- Waste Handling & Processing: Help with the sorting and processing of incoming waste materials, ensuring they are suitable for energy conversion.
- Maintenance Support: Assist with routine checks and basic maintenance to ensure plant equipment is functioning optimally.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Gather and report on operational data (e.g., energy output, emissions) for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Team Support: Work with other team members to troubleshoot operational issues and ensure smooth plant operations.
- Training & Development: Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge in waste management, energy production, and sustainability.

Entry Requirements: We are seeking applications from candidates who have or are predicted to gain 5 x GCSEs (or equivalent). Grades must be A*-C / 9-5 for Maths and A*-C / 9-4 for English, Science and two other subjects. If you have completed AS, A Levels or BTEC National in Engineering and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we would love to hear from you.
Training to be Provided:
- Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
- BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)
