Job Description

Due to continued growth, Midland Fire are looking to expand our team with an Experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to work predominantly on fire alarm system service contracts throughout the Midlands region.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities within this role will include routine servicing, fault finding, repairs, and minor works on a variety of fire alarm systems across the Midlands.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of a range of fire alarm panels and systems.
• Experience with fault finding and routine servicing of fire alarm systems.
• Experience with security systems such as CCTV, access control, intruder alarms is an advantage but not essential.
• Confidence in working independently and delivering high standards of service.
• Good working knowledge of BS5839:1-2017 standards.
• Participation in out‑of‑hours call‑out rota required (1 week in 12).
• Full driving licence.
• Familiarity with work in Birmingham, Coventry, Burton, Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester.

Job Types

Pay

Earnings of up to £50k PA

Schedule

• Monday to Friday.
• Overtime available.
• Call‑out rota (1 week in 12).

On the road, Midlands region.
