This is a full-time, hybrid role working 35 hours per week (2 days in office / 3 days from home).
Responsibilities
- Working closely with stakeholders to deliver a quality recruitment service, determining the role to be recruited, key skills and accountabilities and writing compelling advertisements to drive responses via job boards and social media.
- Attracting suitable calibre candidates for roles by contacting candidates using direct searching tools, including Linked In & Indeed Recruiter seats, searching, screening, qualifying and shortlisting candidates for submission against vacancies using Boolean search, social media channels and other recruitment networking options.
- Supporting the hiring process from end-to-end, placing advertisements, acknowledging responses, screening candidates against key criteria and presenting shortlists to hiring managers.
- Using Workday ATS to ensure candidate information is updated regularly and kept in line with GDPR regulations.
- Guiding hiring managers through the recruitment process, ensuring they follow correct processes, act impartially, and provide timely feedback.
Interviewing, taking notes and providing feedback as required.
- Suggesting and implementing ideas that improve team effectiveness, including participation in projects supporting talent acquisition.
- Managing multiple recruitment campaigns at different stages of their lifecycle.
- Key Functional Competencies & Skills
- Proven recruitment experience across various functions, including BPOs within Telford and regionally.
- Demonstrable experience recruiting finance sector/volume roles with an in-depth understanding of recruitment market and terminology.
- Experience in 360° recruiting, including understanding of relevant employment law.
- Creative ability in developing and implementing effective candidate sourcing strategies.
- Skilled in direct candidate sourcing using Boolean search strings.
- Experience using an ATS / Workday.
- Delivery and customer focused, managing priorities across multiple vacancies and requirements.
- Understanding of recruitment‑related areas including metrics, branding, diversity, talent mobility, social media, workforce planning.
- Awareness of key risks in recruitment, including employment legislation, pre‑employment screening and regulatory issues.
- Significant experience of end‑to‑end recruitment in a fast‑paced, volume environment.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, influencing, negotiating and communicating effectively with colleagues and candidates at all levels.
- Commercial knowledge of financial services / call centre environments.
