Location: Within a 90-minute travel radius of your home (applicants must reside within Luton)

Salary: From £27,965 + £4,200 per annum car allowance + uncapped monthly bonus (current Field team earn monthly bonuses from £200-£400)

Earnings Potential: Up to £35,765 per year (inclusive of car allowance)

Hours: Flexible, 40 hours per week (including prime hours)

About the Role

As a Field Collections Agent, you will be the friendly face of Orbit, meeting customers at their homes to help them find a way forward with their finances. You’ll offer empathy, guidance, and practical solutions that make a real difference.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Visit customers to resolve outstanding arrears and discuss payment options
  • Handle accounts for both regulated and non-regulated clients, including reconnection visits
  • Accept payments, set up repayment plans, and re-engage customers with client services
  • Educate customers about the potential consequences of non-payment
  • Use an Orbit-supplied iPad to update account outcomes in real time

Working Hours

We offer a 40-hour work week with a supportive approach to work-life balance. Your visits will be scheduled across the following operating window: 40 hours per week required, operating hours are Monday–Friday visiting between 8am–8pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. 10 of your 40 hours must be worked during prime hours. Prime hours are 4pm -8pm Monday and Saturday 9am-1pm.

  • Clear criminal record
  • No CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcies in the last 6 years
  • Full driving licence (max 6 points), own car, and will require business insurance
