About The Role
As a Field Collections Agent, you’ll be the friendly face of Orbit, meeting customers at their homes to help them find a way forward with their finances. You’ll offer empathy, guidance and practical solutions that make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customers to resolve outstanding arrears and discuss payment options.
- Handle accounts for both regulated and non‑regulated clients, including reconnection visits.
- Accept payments, set up repayment plans and re‑engage customers with client services.
- Educate customers about the potential consequences of non‑payment.
- Use an Orbit‑supplied iPad to update account outcomes in real time.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
- Own car and access to a vehicle; business insurance required.
- Clear criminal record.
- No CCJs, IVAs or bankruptcies in the last 6 years.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable working independently.
- Prefer working independently, outdoors and engaging face‑to‑face; value flexibility and autonomy.
Salary & Location
- Salary: £27,965 per annum + £4,200 car allowance + uncapped monthly bonus (typical £200–£400). Earnings potential up to £35,765 per year.
- Hours: Flexible, 40 hours per week (including peak shifts).
- Location: Within a 90‑minute travel radius of your home (applicants must reside within Liverpool).
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8am–8pm, Saturday 9am–1pm. 10 hours must be worked during prime hours (4pm–8pm Monday and Saturday 9am–1pm).
