To assist with the day to day running of carpentry materials, ensuring material related to the stores are maintained. Occasional delivery and collection of product and materials using company transport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving materials from customers and suppliers.
  • Issuing materials to the correct operative in a timely manner to meet schedules.
  • Checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock.
  • Ensure all received stock is undamaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
  • Informing the Contracts Manager of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering.
  • Ensuring delivery service used is adequate to meet our requirements.
  • Maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas including basic house-keeping.
  • Delivery and collection of material as required onsite.
  • Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the stores.

Clean Driving Licence. Must have in date CSCS Card.

Reporting to: Our Contracts Manager

40hrs per week
