Description: As an experienced Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in championing a high-quality, proactive People service across the College and its subsidiary companies. You’ll work in close partnership with managers and departments to deliver outcomes that support staff success and enhance the student experience, all while aligning your approach with the College’s vision, values, priorities and strategic objectives. Bring your expertise, judgement and commitment to service excellence — and you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. 22.5 hours - pro rata amount will be £25,169 - £29,650.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior managers to deliver strategic People solutions, providing expert advice, workforce insight and support aligned to College objectives.
  • Lead on employee relations, coaching and developing managers to manage performance, attendance, capability and conduct effectively and confidently.
  • Provide authoritative guidance on employment law, policies and best practice, ensuring consistency, compliance and high standards across the College and subsidiaries.
  • Lead and support people aspects of organisational change, performance improvement and engagement, working collaboratively with trade unions and stakeholders.
  • Drive effective attendance, wellbeing and absence management, working with Occupational Health and stakeholders to improve attendance and organisational performance.
