Job Description:

Opportunity for a Facilities Operations Coordinator to join a prestigious training facility in Chatham, Kent. Permanent contract. £28K-£30K + excellent benefits. 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8-4.30).

The Facilities Coordinator will assist the Facilities Manager and team in ensuring that the facilities, premises, and equipment are managed, maintained, and serviced to the highest standard.

This active and varied role will include:

  • Managing external contractors for capital projects, planning, organizing, and delivering work to specific timescales.
  • Seeking ways to improve and enhance the current working environment through innovation.
  • Supporting the Facilities Manager with scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and project calendar management.
  • Coordinating document control and ownership.
  • Procurement of materials and consumables.
  • Supporting the Facilities Helpdesk, delegating workloads, and maintaining communication with staff.
  • Handling invoices through the PO system, ensuring accurate payments and budgeting.
  • Conducting site inspections and reporting issues.
  • Managing asset records and scheduling, ensuring H&S compliance.
  • Working across local sites and traveling as needed.
  • Full UK driving license required.

Additional experience beneficial for the role includes:

  • Qualifications and experience with CDM regulations.
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in Facilities Management.
  • Asset management experience.
  • Knowledge of health and safety management.
  • Good organizational, communication, and IT skills.
  • CAD knowledge.
  • Experience with capital expenditure projects.
  • FM qualification or affiliation.
